NurseAid Africa is a digital-health initiative that makes it easier to find and connect with qualified nursing professionals for care at home, in the community, and at the workplace. We start in Tanzania’s urban communities, with a vision to serve communities across Africa.

The Problem

Many families struggle to find qualified nursing support outside hospitals, especially after discharge, during recovery, or when caring for older relatives. At the same time, many nurses have few ways to make their skills available to the people who need them.

Technology

We are exploring digital nurse profiles, location-based discovery, booking, secure messaging, digital payments, and health education. Any use of AI will include safeguards and will never replace clinical judgement or emergency care.

Meet the Founder

Kizito Koinet Kileu, Founder and CEO. A nursing professional and healthcare innovator with more than ten years of healthcare experience in nursing practice, leadership, and management. He is pursuing the Post-RN BScN at Aga Khan University in Dar es Salaam. His guiding question: how can technology help bring appropriate nursing services closer to the people who need them?
